Practice accreditations

Pride in Practice ( Gold Standard)

The Tessa Jowell GP Surgery works with LGBT Foundation’s Pride in Practice to ensure we achieve excellence in LGBT healthcare and successfully meet the needs of our LGBT patients. The Practice and our Patient Participation Group is open to all and are dedicated to protecting diversity and equality. We are here to listen to suggestions and feedback from our LGBT patients on their experiences with us. What are we doing well? How can we continue to develop? We are hoping that by listening we can better improve and move towards a more equal healthcare provision.

If you have something you want to share or feel would help us in this process, please let us know.

This means that as part of the health commitments of the armed forces covenant we have a dedicated clinician who has specialist knowledge of military related health conditions and veteran specific health services. If you are ex forces please let us know to help ensure that you are getting the best possible care.
